Take it from Golda

There I was, sipping a cappuccino with a great view of the Mediterranean Sea, awaiting a job interview with the Co-founder and CEO of Genieo, Sol Tzvi. If the Genieo product and team embody the spirit of this office kitchen, I thought to myself, then this could be the beginning of a great experience.

It’s neat and tidy, not too fancy or alienated. The kind of kitchen you'll find in one’s home. Cozy and warm. The personal touch is more than evident. After all, Genieo specializes in creating a personalized startpage, which showcases content that a user finds most interesting for himself, or herself, delivered with a personal touch…

It is of no coincidence therefore that this particular kitchen has a white board so that the people who work at Genieo can illustrate their insights while brainstorming over a cup of coffee. It is here that one’s creative juices are best uncorked, where an algorithm can be further developed or a nifty application best designed.  The smell of fresh coffee can do wonders.
Great ideas are often conceptualized in informal surroundings, not unfriendly conference rooms. Take Golda Meir, Israel’s legendary prime minister who served as premier from 1969 to 1974. She had this habit of gathering her senior ministers and closest political confidants in her kitchen. I guess she felt sharpest while in the comfort of her own modest kitchen, preparing her famous cheese cake. This matter cannot be taken lightly as decisions of the utmost importance were made in Golda's kitchen. To this day, an Israeli prime minister’s inner circle is often called the “security and diplomacy kitchenette”.
Some kitchens should not serve as an example of the creative atmosphere. Take this one for instance

Other kitchens, however, can bring about great things. Take it from Golda.
Thanks to our quest S.R
